Meet the team...

Ian Hilder

Ian has been described as a ball of energy. While he may not entirely agree first thing in the morning, it is true that he brings an enthusiasm and a passion to everything he does and that is channeled into his work at Career Transitions USA: “The biggest thrill for me is seeing people grow and achieve,” says Ian, “and to know that, in some small way, I was a part of that.”

Ian has more than twenty years experience in business and coaching. Having started in sales within the print/publishing industry his career developed into both marketing and senior management. Positions have included c-level roles within companies ranging from start-ups to multi-nationals such as Xerox and MicroSoft.

Originally from the UK, Ian has a BA (Hons) in English from Southampton University and an MBA (Marketing) from Sundridge Park Business School. Ian moved to the USA in August 2006 and has been enjoying it thoroughly: “There is such a positive outlook in America,” says Ian, “a real belief that the individual can achieve great things. And we are here to help make that happen.”

Jeanne Crowley

Jeanne's background is in Human Resources and Recruitment within both major, blue chip companies as well as cutting edge start-ups. Jeanne brings a depth of knowledge to Career Transitions USA in the preparation of candidate applications, interviewing and follow-up techniques. She also has first hand insight into the recruitment process from the point of view of the employer.

"So often it is the small things that have a massive, cumulative effect," says Jeanne, "obviously you need to have the basics right but then it is about ensuring you come over as a cut above the rest. That's what we help people do at Career Transitions USA."
